We have a love and respect for the Japanese culture aswell the rich heritage of the Kimono.  There are so many styles of this elegant garment.  Various occassions in which one, male or female would choose as to ordain themeselves in a specific style of Kimono.   Wheather for a Tea ceremony, coming of age day for girls, a lovely wedding, mourning the passing of a loved one, visiting the temple, festivals just to name a few.  Some of the styles of Kimonos; Furisode which means "swinging sleeves" the longer the sleeve the more formal,  Odori (dance) Katamigawari (half and half) worn for traditional Japanese dancer,  Yutaka  worn by men and women at festivals in the summer a bright color,  Hikizuri/Susohiki worn by Geisha or stage performers of traditional Japanese dance.  The Japanese Kimono is full ornate complexcity yet beautifully simplicity.
